The tundra biome of southwest Alaska is truly a spectacle to the eye. On a Tundra tour, you will explore the habitat of the Mulchatna Caribou heard in our modified small aircraft. The rolling hills of the tundra are colored combinations of greens, reds, browns, yellows, and oranges. It is common to see Caribou herds, brown bear, and moose on this tour, as well as willow ptarmigan. Thanks to our experienced bush pilots, you are able to land and experience the tundra landscape, as well as view animals where no other people have set foot.
